We wanted to reach out and clarify a few things due to the changes for face coverings within social clubs from August the 8th.
As you know we have been actively practising and promoting social distancing, one way system, hand sanitizing within the club since we opened on July the 4th. From today, August the 8th, the requirement for face coverings have been extended to more public areas. It is now a legal requirement to wear face coverings within social clubs.
Where this law does not apply:
The Government guidance states:
Face coverings are not required in restaurants with table service, bars, and pubs.
We understand this to mean that if you are inside and are consuming food or drink at a pub or bar, you do not need to wear a facial covering.
We continue to strongly encourage that you follow the rules we have all been following to date and communicating since before we opened, to enjoy the outside areas where possible and should you wish to consume food and drink within the club, you do so within your social bubbles or family units.
